Product Description

ZONEHIB™ HEC is derived from natural polymer cellulose, which undergoes a reaction with sodium hydroxide to form a basic cellulose colloid. Subsequently, ethylene oxide and other essential chemicals are introduced to the reaction, culminating in the production of hydroxyethyl cellulose. This process is known as etherification.By meticulously controlling production parameters, we ensure the high-quality manufacture of hydroxyethyl cellulose.

This product appears as a white or light yellow powder, and it is non-toxic and tasteless. It dissolves rapidly in both hot and cold water, stands insoluble in common organic solvents, and boasts remarkable properties such as thickening, dispersing, emulsifying, adhesive qualities, stabilization, water retention, and film-forming capabilities. Moreover, it can function as a protective colloid in various products.
