Product Description

 

ZONEHIB™ HEC is derived from a natural polymer cellulose, which undergoes a reaction with sodium hydroxide to form a primary cellulose colloid. This is then further processed through the addition of ethylene oxide and other chemicals to achieve etherification. By meticulously controlling the production parameters, we produce high-quality Hydroxyethyl Cellulose.

This product appears as a white or light yellow powder that is non-toxic and tasteless. It dissolves quickly in both hot and cold water, remains insoluble in most organic solvents, and boasts exceptional characteristics such as thickening, dispersing, emulsifying, adhesion, stabilization, water retention, and film-forming properties. Additionally, it serves as a protective colloid in various formulations.
