ZONEHIB™ HEC is a premier natural polymer material derived from cellulose. Initially, cellulose reacts with sodium hydroxide to form a basic cellulose colloid. This is subsequently treated with ethylene oxide and other chemicals to achieve superior etherification. etherificationBy meticulously controlling production parameters, we produce top-grade Hydroxyethyl Cellulose.

This product appears as a white or light yellow powder that is non-toxic and tasteless. It dissolves effortlessly in both hot and cool water but remains insoluble in standard organic solvents. It boasts exceptional properties such as thickening, dispersing, emulsifying, adhesion, stabilizing, water retention, and film forming. Additionally, it serves as an excellent protective colloid in various applications.
