ZONEHIB™ HEC is derived from a natural polymer material, cellulose, which undergoes a transformative reaction with sodium hydroxide to form a basic cellulose colloid. Following this, ethylene oxide and other select chemicals are introduced into the reaction to synthesize this extraordinary product. etherification,resulting in the production of superior Hydroxyethyl Cellulose through meticulous control of production parameters.

This pristine white or light yellow powder is non-toxic and tasteless, capable of rapid dissolution in both hot and cold water. While insoluble in most organic solvents, it boasts exceptional properties such as thickening, dispersing, emulsifying, adhesion, stabilizing, water retention, and film forming. Additionally, it can serve as a protective colloid in various applications.
