ZONEHIB™ HEC is derived from naturally occurring cellulose. This premium polymer material undergoes a meticulous process where it reacts with sodium hydroxide to form a basic cellulose colloid. Subsequently, ethylene oxide and other essential chemicals are introduced to advance the etherification. etherificationThe production parameters are finely controlled to yield superior Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC).

This remarkable product appears as a white or light yellow powder, is non-toxic and tasteless, and dissolves effortlessly in both hot and cold water. Although insoluble in most organic solvents, it boasts exceptional properties including thickening, dispersing, emulsifying, adhesion, stabilizing, water retention, and film-forming capabilities.
