ZONEHIB™ HEC is derived from natural polymer cellulose and undergoes a sophisticated chemical reaction with sodium hydroxide, transforming it into a basic cellulose colloid. Subsequently, ethylene oxide and other chemicals are meticulously introduced into the reaction process, culminating in the creation of a high-quality etherification processthat yields premium Hydroxyethyl Cellulose. By meticulously controlling production parameters, we ensure the finest quality of HEC.

This product appears as a white or light yellow powder, is non-toxic and tasteless, and dissolves rapidly in both hot and cold water. It is insoluble in most organic solvents and boasts exceptional properties such as thickening, dispersing, emulsifying, adhesion, stabilizing, water retention, and film forming. It also serves effectively as a protective colloid in various applications.
